Spill the Beans

San Diego has many coffee shops to choose from, but if you're looking for a laid back environment and a delicious cup of coffee - Spill the Beans is the place to go!

There are a couple Spill the Beans locations around San Diego, but I decided to visit the one on the corner of Market St and Sixth Ave. If you, like me, want a less busy location to visit you should definitely choose this location opposed to the one near Seaport Village. The shop is a small, but very open with a bar along the front windows. There is minimal decor, but I really enjoyed the Pot Head neon sign just inside the door.

They had a simple and basic coffee menu, so I ordered my go-to, a vanilla latte -- iced. I really loved it. I can be very picky when it comes to coffee, cream, and syrup ratios but they really nailed it. I think the flavor of their espresso is very nice and really shines through the other additives in the latte. Overall, I really enjoyed the simplicity of Spill the Beans and I truly believe they have some of the best coffee I've ever had.
